In July 1976, four terrorists hijack an Air France flight from Tel-Aviv to Paris and force the flight crew to land in Entebbe, Uganda. With the threat of mass bloodshed should the hijackers ' demands go unmet, the Israeli Prime Minister authorizes a rescue mission. As the deadline looms, a squadron of Israeli commandos attempt to free the hostages before it's too late.
